Ketzev

Ketzev is a 4-piece band specialising in performing at Jewish weddings and Bar-Mitzvahs. Their repertoire is mainly geared around providing the music for Israeli dancing however the band have an additional playlist of relaxed Klezmer music, traditional Jewish folk music and also a total competence in Jazz. The band is led by hugely talented clarinetist
and saxophonist Jake Goss who is originally from Washington DC. Jake moved over to the UK to study eight years ago and was awarded a degree from Leeds University followed by a Masters degree from the Royal Academy of Music in London. Since completing his studies he has remained in the UK and now lives in London. Jake has been performing at Jewish events since a very young age back in the US, he now continues to use his wealth of experience and talent to do the same throughout the UK. A keen jazz musician, Jake Goss and is an ever-increasingly regular performer at the countries top jazz venues, so look out for him!

Ketzev are perfect for a wide variety of Jewish events, either providing the Israeli music for dancing in advance of additional evening entertainment, for providing background music during a day or evening reception or working alongside the band Get Funked, with whom they perform on a very regular basis. Ketzev can also perform with a vocalist upon request and can put together bespoke performances for wedding ceremonies.
