That Swing ThingThat Swing Thing are an awesome explosion of big band and Rat Pack sounds. The band is fronted by the legendary singer and front-man Al Martin whose crooner looks, charisma and superb vocals make for a great night of entertainment. The band's repertoire is a carefully crafted mix of the songs made famous by Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jnr, Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jnr and Tony Bennett. That Swing Thing are available in a 5-piece line-up consisting of their male vocalist Al Martin, pianist, double bass player, drummer and saxophonist. This line-up is perfect for relaxed affairs at weddings, parties and small receptions. The livelier 11-piece party band comes with six brass players for that full big band sound, along with an authentic driving rhythm section. Still suitable for weddings and parties, this derivative of That Swing Thing is more of a show band for all-out evening entertainment. So be it for a corporate show or a chilled out evening serenade, this band have got it in more ways than one and will provide the sophisticated, elegant and sumptuous evening performance that you are no doubt imagining. |
