The Deepnote Sax Quartet

The Deepnote Sax Quartet are a highly regarded ensemble with an extensive repertoire ranging from popular songs and jazz to light classical music.
The members of the band have performed in prestigious venues throughout the world from the La Madeleine in Paris to St Mark’s Basilica in Venice. They have also played at venues throughout the UK including The Glastonbury Festival and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London. Working alongside and in collaboration with highly regarded artists such as Jools Holland, Corrine Bailey Rae, Carleen Anderson, Katie Melua and the Official Rat Pack Touring Band, the Quartet have an abundance of talent and a wealth of experience behind them. Their alto sax player Damian Cook was awarded BBC Big Band Soloist of the year in 2004.

The Deepnote Sax Quartet are the ideal compliment to a large variety of occasions from weddings and garden parties to product launches and corporate events. They can play with huge energy, adding touches of improvisation and creative flair, or they can sit-back and perform unobtrusive background jazz for relaxing to. The group are completely self-contained, require no power and can set up within minutes, making them a very flexible and versatile for a range of occasions and situations.

Saxophone quartets are a novel alternative to standard reception music. The rich textures and beautiful sounds that the family of saxophones can make when put together is truly remarkable and will take your breath away!
