The New Soul Collective‘The New Soul Collective’ play a mix of classic soul from great labels like Tamla-Motown and Stax through to funky 70’s and 80’s hits like Lady Marmalade and Luther Vandross’ Never Too Much. Lead singer Peter Huckerby and keyboardist Wayne Pollock founded the band and have played together in various projects for about 7 years. Wayne studied Classical and Jazz Music in Leeds before moving into soul, funk and other genres. His career has seen a lot of variety from touring the Caribbean on cruise ships to performing for Elton John and celebrity guests at Elton’s birthday party. Peter Huckerby started his musical career working on the soul scene around the UK and eventually by demand moved in to corporate and private work.
