




	The New Soul Collective ‘The New Soul Collective’ play a mix of classic soul from great labels like Tamla-Motown and Stax through to funky 70’s and 80’s hits like Lady Marmalade and Luther Vandross’ Never Too Much. They also perform songs from current artists like Jamiroquai and Donnell Jones. Soul and RnB are not their only disciplines. They also have Reggae and Jazz in their repertoire. Vocalist Peter Huckerby and Pianist Wayne Pollock also write and perform original material as ‘Brothers On The Slide’. Their album ‘Try’ is available on iTunes. The standard 5-piece line-up includes: Lead Vocals Piano/Keyboards Lead Guitar Bass Guitar Drums This can be expanded to a 9-piece band with the addition of: Trumpet Saxophone Trombone Percussion And if that's not enough, the band can also perform with additional lead and backing vocalists to form the ultimate 14-piece show band! Lead singer Peter Huckerby and keyboardist Wayne Pollock founded the band and have played together in various projects for about 7 years. Wayne studied Classical and Jazz Music in Leeds before moving into soul, funk and other genres. His career has seen a lot of variety from touring the Caribbean on cruise ships to performing for Elton John and celebrity guests at Elton’s birthday party. Peter Huckerby started his musical career working on the soul scene around the UK and eventually by demand moved in to corporate and private work. He has worked with and performed for people like Jonathan Wilkes from ‘ITV’s You’ve Been Framed’, Steve Halliwell ‘Emmerdales Zack Dingle’ He has also performed with The Drifters and superstar Robbie Williams at private functions.
